Kentico Top 10 Website for January 2020

Each month Kentico selects the top 10 websites that stand out for their use of technologies and their positive impact on day-to-day users. This month, WDM is proud to see one of our recent MVC built sites,  Te Pae Convention Centre named one of those top 10 sites.

Te Pae is Christchurch’s convention centre and New Zealand's premier venue for conventions, conferences, congress, exhibitions, trade shows, meetings, and events. It was necessary to deliver a stylish new site that can easily handle multiple types of digital content and layouts as the site needs to transition its focus from tourism to events once the venue is officially opened. The site also needed to be developed in MVC in order to future proof it for the years to come. It was a requirement that content should be easily managed by non-technical staff as frequent content changes and updates will be required once the venue opens.  

WDM would like to thank Te Pae for all their support and hard work during this process, as well as Kentico for providing such a strong foundation for our MVC sites.

With the phasing out of Portal Engine by 2022, MVC is now the standard for development on the Kentico platform. With an updated suite of widgets, content management just got a whole lot easier!
